Center's Mission
The Center of International Scholarships and Projects (CrISP) at Horus University in Egypt (HUE) as a private educational & research institution mission is to seek eminent profile via the participation in relevant scholarships and research projects and the provision of specialized valuable services to students, technicians and professionals to satisfy the need of local, national and international societies. |
Center's Goal
It is of a great importance to increase HUE’s visibility and recognition, to continue on monitoring and improving the quality of its deliverables to the professional society. The focus will be to seek new avenues and to continue on engagement in national and international research proposals, scientific conferences, workshops and exchange programs. Sub-Goals:

Center's Achievements
The Science, Technology, Development Funding authority has activated the funding of a new research project number (45945), led by the Principal Investigator: Assoc. Prof. Dr. Omer Alkelany, Director of the Center of International Projects and Scholarships at Horus University- Egypt, and the Vice Dean of Graduate Studies, research, and community service, Faculty of Engineering at Horus University-Egypt. The research project is entitled: “Experiential Learning in Computer Engineering; Using the low-cost computing technology of the Field Programmable Gate Array devices.” The research team will utilize the experiential learning technique via the FPGA boards technology, to develop multiple, portable lab experiences, at different levels to be used in multiple courses related to computer and logic design. Those innovative experiences will be used in education for the first time at Horus University-Egypt, at the faculty of Engineering. |
