Becoming a researcher is a professional qualification, Researcher requires curiosity, critical thinking, experimentation and critical analysis of results.
But now, Science progresses have led to ever stronger organizations, Scientist`s professional networks, shared practices and rules in both competitive and collaborative research environment, conducting visible and relevant scientific research requires methodology confirming to international standards.
Scientific research unit in Horus University aims to create an academic exchange platform for high-level talents and to promote development of academic disciplines and scientific research by sharing information of research frontiers with helping researchers and graduates to conduct high quality researches with full supports from the board of trustees of Horus University.
The unit working within the framework of strengthening the research capacity for Horus University staff, members and students.
About The Unit
SRU is a unit working within the framework supporting technically and financially the research of the undergraduate, graduate students and researchers (faculty staff and members) at HUE. The prolific scientific research environment at HUE resulted in hundreds of scientific research articles. |

| Upgrade scientific research to be classified regionally and internationally in the specialties of Horus University – Egypt and achieve excellence in scientific research. |

| To create a convenient framework for scientific research, to disseminate its culture, and to create practical solutions. |
Unit's Objectives
1. Linking the Unit’s policies in the field of scientific research to the vision, mission, and goals of the University. 2. To motivate scientific research at HUE. 3. Contributing to the study of community issues and the creation of scientific solutions. 4. Develop research strategies and plans based on research goals and community needs. 5. Providing a scientific database. 6. Record achievements, scientific and research awards for students and researchers (faculty staff and members). 7. Facilitates collaborative research and enhances research networking ability and infrastructure. 8. Provides an annual report about the HUE’s research activities. |
